\"Lava<\/a><\/p>\n

Our vision is two fold: to\u00a0help people with symptoms unfold the deeper aspects of their symptom\u00a0process into the fabric of their lives and also to teach and train\u00a0students and health professionals how to work with symptoms in a holistic way. One component is where we meet for two and a half hours more or less bi-monthly and work with\u00a0a person on their symptom followed by a forum\/group process concerning\u00a0the community issues connected with that symptom. The second component is weekend training workshops twice a year.<\/p>\n

Our Dreambody Medicine project is inspired by the foundational Lava Rock<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0seminars that Arnold & Amy Mindell<\/em> and Max Schupbach<\/em> taught. In these seminars we learned how to work with symptoms in a holistic way, unraveling their meaning in a person’s life. Collectively we are most grateful that we can continue the tradition.<\/p>\n

Our hope is that we can together achieve a new attitude that refrains from pathologizing individuals and communities and appreciates the diversity that our world is manifesting.<\/p>\n

We believe in individuals\u2019 and communities\u2019 self-organizational and self-healing powers and the flow of nature they bring to life. We create a space and home for the breadth and range of everybody\u2019s identity and support our internal diversity and the diversity of our communities, thus inspiring growth, participation, dialogue, enriched experiences and community.<\/p>\n

\nAs the Dreambody Medicine Project team and as individuals, we endorse diversity in its individual and cultural manifestations\/expressions. Health and disease are both unique individual and community experiences that need understanding and integration. As such we apply the highest standards of excellence to the practice of health leadership, partner with our customers\/clients\/students\/learners to build on their strengths and maximize their resources, and concentrate on achieving their individual and community goals and well-being. We value community and commit our individual and organizational efforts to foster health, respect, dignity, justice, and the integration of diverse cultural and community experiences.<\/p>\n

  2. Facilitate the coming together of a team of providers to help manifest the vision.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Integration: Help facilitate internalized medical paradigms and individual health beliefs, provider \u2013patient relationship and family dynamics.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Rainbow medicine: how to interface the need for immediate symptom relief, the use of conventional medical remedies and procedures, with life-style choices, wellness behaviors and personal growth and development.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Attract new partners and increase depth and richness of individual and community networks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

These forums, workshops and seminars are an educational experience, intended to enhance personal growth.
